Backhoe/ Trackhoe/ Blade Operator

Position Summary:

We are currently looking to fill this position in the Midland/Odessa, TX area. The Backhoe/ Trackhoe/ Blade Operator will report directly to the Foreman, Spread Boss, Pusher, or Field Supervisor depending on the region and division which they are assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures
  • Maintain and build upon the company culture for industry leading safety programs
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections on equipment before operating
  • Keep equipment clean and free of trash
  • Ensure equipment is safely secured and stored.
  • Advise supervisor or any needed maintenance or repairs needed to equipment
  • Participate in routine maintenance of equipment such as greasing, cleaning filters, and adding fluids

HSE:

  • Engage in 3S JSA/ GO Card process, ABC observations, and Stop Work Program. Demonstrate your visible commitment to these processes and the 3S Safety Culture.
  • Adhere to all 3S and customer safety policies and procedures
  • Utilitze Hazard Scout to document your participation in BBS (ABC) observations
  • Participate in GO Card discussions
  • Develop JSA for assigned tasks

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience and demonstrated ability to follow policies and procedures while operating equipment is a safe and effective manner to prevent injury and property damage.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Knowledge of the key components of equipment operated.

Position Summary:

  • Knowledge of Industry design codes especially AISC, ACI, ASCE, ASTM, and BS
  • Be fully conversant with seismic and environmental analysis theory design fundamentals and construction methodology

Contract Specialist II

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing contract management in support of the organization ensuring portfolio of approximately 800 very diverse contracts are organized and archived in company’s Global Contracts Management System (GCMS) with sufficient information necessary to effectively administer all contracts over their life cycle.    

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for contract issues, negotiations, and/or administration of licensing agreements including renewal, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidations.
  • Verifies all aspects of the order, including pricing to ensure conformance with company policy while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Anticipates problems and initiates actions to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently.
  • Performs contract administration, tracking, and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, funding limitations ensuring deliverance of timely notices to customer, cost performance and customer correspondence

Cost Accountant

Position Summary:

The Cost Accountant will monitor, compile and report upon various financial data to assure timely and accurate compliance with financial reporting systems and processes; while supporting the BUDs in meeting or exceeding financial goals of the region thru collaborative analysis of financial predictors and indicators.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Daily Activity Reports

  • Monitor the daily activity reports for WTX (approximately 15 XDFRs currently)
  • Extract relevant data per report, compile an e-mail summary and communicate to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with WTX Office Manager and field managers to correct any non-compliances to 3S processes.

Crew Tracker

  • Utilize “Crew Tracker” (Excel spreadsheet) to model any new hires, crew adjustments, pay raises, customer rate changes and work with relevant manager to make sound financial decisions based upon the calculated margins.
  • Keep the Crew Builder up to date for any changes that are decided upon in above steps.
  • Work with Office Manager such that you share any crew make-up changes to Ticket entry, and they also share changes they are aware of with you such that all are in sync and up to date.
  • Execute the “approval” process on New Hires via Hazard Scout.

Non-Billable Time & Expenditures

  • Review and approve tickets for non-billable labor using BUD defined guidelines.
  • Review and approve PO’s for non-billable expenditures using BUD defined guidelines.

Purchase Orders

  • Review the weekly report for “Materials Margins” to assure that all PO’s were priced out consistent with Customer MSA Rate sheets.
  • At least weekly, filter HTS for all open WTX PO’s (Job and EQ). Chase PO creator on any that are ageing.
  • Assist in securing vendor invoices as needed to prevent stale PO’s/
  • Daily- run an EQ PO report by date created for the previous day and provide relevant BUD. Investigate as/if requested by BUD.

Equipment Rentals

  • Compile the rented equipment that is on monthly bill-out, create tickets and facilitate the invoicing for these charges.

Other Miscellaneous Duties

  • Assist relevant personnel with bid work-ups upon request
  • Research as may be requested by BUD, Financial Analyst and/or Executive Management
  • Assist as needed with requests for new job numbers.
  • Eventually learn to serve as short-term back-up for WTX Office Manager
  • Projects as assigned

Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Business experience
  • Highly organized
  • Great attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel- updating/maintaining spreadsheets with formulas/creating and maintaining financial models
  • Discipline to maintain a daily schedule of required outputs that are time sensitive.
  • Capable of managing many tasks while still being highly responsive to needs form the BUD, field and customers.
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to perform highly within cross-functional and cross-departmental teams

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Oil & Gas experience in a financial analysis role.

Electrical CAD Operator

Position Summary:

We are looking to fill this position in the Midland, TX area. The Electrical CAD Operator operates CAD system and produces clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings using company and government drafting standards.
  • Accuracy and effectiveness in electronic drafting.
  • Perform drawing and technology research.
  • Coordinate with designers, technicians and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.

Electrician

Position Summary:

This job installs, repairs wiring, maintains and upgrades electrical systems, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties. This job description may be revised as needed.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Builds meter skids
  • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
  • Pulls wiring through conduit.
  • Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
  • Terminates wiring at lighting fixtures, control boxes, connectors, and power equipment.
  • Installs controls, monitoring and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, sensors, control boxes and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric motors or heaters, and installs grounding leads.
  • Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
  • Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
  • Disassembles faulty electrical equipment, replaces defective or damaged components and re-assembles equipment.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
  • Other tasks maybe assigned as needed.

I&E Designer

Position Summary:

We are currently looking to fill this position in the Midland and Arlington, TX areas. The I&E Designer performs instrumentation and electrical design duties for projects in the oil and gas industry. The I&E Designer also works with other engineering disciplines to: create instrumentation and electrical drawings packages for construction

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of 3S Services HSE policies.
  • Read and understand process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Work with AutoCAD design software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Work with vendors to review the installation requirements for the different pieces of electrical equipment.
  • Ability to do electrical system walk downs and create as-built drawings.

  • Be able to create conduit and cable schedules which require the knowledge of the NEC Code in regards cable sizing and conduit fill.

Junior Electrical Engineer

Position Summary:

  • Performs electrical engineering and design duties for projects in the oil and gas industry.
  • Works with other engineering disciplines to create instrumentation and electrical construction packages.

  • Read and understand electrical drawing packages.
  • Work with electrical engineering modeling software such as ETAP or SKM to perform electrical system studies on various facilities.

Pipeline Operator

Position Summary:

The Pipeline Operator performs terminal and station operations with both inside and outside responsibilities. This is a 7 on and 7 off rotation, located in the Orla/ Menton, Texas area. Camp housing will be provided during the 7 days off.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plans and executes crude oil delivery to appropriate pipelines or tankage.
  • Performs measurement analysis to determine crude oil API gravity and sediment and water percentage.
  • Monitors operational data during crude oil movements and takes appropriate actions when necessary.
  • Ensures safety and protection of the environment for activities performed by terminal maintenance, inspection, and crude oil washing activities.
  • Monitors terminal equipment during operational activities to ensure proper function. Performs tank-to-tank transfers when necessary.
  • Gathers and organizes measurement data, including meter counts, sediment and water data, and other related information.
  • Enters measurement data into ticketing system, analyzing the data once entered and correcting any errors.
  • Performs basic maintenance activities, general housekeeping, and other related activities.
  • Assigns work permits for company and contract personnel working at local facilities.
  • Communicates operational information, maintenance needs, and other related information to internal and external customers in both verbal and written form.
  • Coordinates emergency response activities when necessary and can act as first responder when required.

  • Ability to use physical force to lift, push or pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb and work at various heights and may work in a standing, sitting, lying down, crouched or kneeling position.
  • Works in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipment.
  • Must be able to routinely react to visual, aural and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work.

We are currently looking to fill this position in the Weatherford/ Decatur, TX areas. The Roustabout hand shall be accountable for performing all job tasks in a safe manner and assist in the identification of potential hazards in the JSA process and communicate effectively with his crew leader.

Senior I&E Designer (Arlington, TX)

Position Summary:

We are currently looking to fill this position in Arlington, TX. This position is responsible for performing instrumentation and electrical design duties for projects in the oil and gas industry. The Senior I&E Designer will work with other engineering disciplines to : create instrumentation and electrical drawing packages for construction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of 3S Services HSE policies and procedures.
  • Read and understand process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Work with AutoCAD design software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
