Production Superintendent

Position Summary:

We are currently looking to fill this position in the Tilden, TX area.

The Production Superintendent is a supervisory role that will oversee production operations, ensure efficiency, quality control, safety, and other standards are being met at all times. This involves establishing and enforcing establishing company standards, policies, and protocols for common practices within the production process. The Production Superintendent will report to management on production levels and optimization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Establishes clear safety and environmental performance expectations with external and internal personnel

● Supervises Production Supervisors

● Conducts operations in accordance with company policy, operating and design guidelines, area operating agreements, and all applicable governmental regulations

● Oversee department operations to reach production goals / targets.

● Track, analyze, forecast, and report on budget and goals.

● Improve Production Efficiency and OPEX/BOE through accurate reporting and management of downtime and incidents

● Coordinates with other work groups to ensure business unit initiatives are level loaded

● Maintains appropriate staffing levels

● Directly responsible for staff training, including in safety and regulatory compliance.

● Adjust schedules, obtain materials, maintain equipment, and improve product flow.

● Work closely with Construction and Maintenance personnel to prioritize the maintenance of existing infrastructure (facilities & pipelines).

● Will be required to deliver presentations to all levels of the organization

Qualifications / Skills:

● Fifteen years of upstream production operations field experience within the Oil and Gas industry, preferable for an exploration & production company.

● Five years in a supervisory / management role

● Understanding of surface facilities operations

● Demonstrates excellent communication and ability to develop relationships with both internal and external customers

● Highly motivated and able to multitask, plan and make decisions effectively at an advanced level

● Experience in NeoFirma or similar field production data collection system required.

● Self­ directed with the ability to work independently and within highly competent work group.

● Able to manage multiple tasks and deliver completed work according to commitments and deadlines.

● MS Suite with a high proficiency in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in the use of RodStar or similar rod lift software

● Experience in database management with understanding of building and maintenance (e.g. NeoFirma, Production Navigator, etc.)

● Experience in SpotFire and Vizio.

 

Education Requirements:

● HS Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor's Degree in a mathematics or science field preferred Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S.

Junior Staff Accountant

Position Summary:

**We are looking to fill this position in Carrizo Springs, TX**

Junior Accountant must apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) guidelines in maintaining complex accounts within established accounting systems. These complex accounts characteristically have revenue sources, cost centers, and cost allocations and overlapping reporting periods. Junior Accountant must ensure assigned accounts are managed in accordance with GAAP standards accounting procedures and appropriate internal controls. Must be able to analyze and resolve nonstandard accounting transactions, and independently initiate appropriate corrections into accounting records. Must have knowledge of payroll processing and payroll reporting to state and federal agencies. Junior Accountant must interact with associate staff to explain accounting policies and procedures and resolve accounting discrepancies and disputes. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and oversees accounting procedures and internal controls for asset and liability accounts, revenue and expense accounts, and equity accounts to ensure compliance with accounting standards and operating procedures.

  • Apply accounting theory to account for revenues, expenditures, transfers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory in accordance with GAAP to accurately report the results to regional operations.

  • Verify source documents for accuracy, completeness, authorization, and coding, as well as proper application of fees, refunds, collections, and discounts in order to verify general ledger balances, reconcile subsystems to the general ledger, and identify accounting system problems or weaknesses.

  • Reconciles bank accounts, initiates corrective actions, and formulates and recommends system and process changes through evaluation, analysis of problems, and application of accounting.

  • Prepares company financial reports including information for the statewide financial report and prepares portions of required annual financial statements and related notes and disclosures.

  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls and submit payroll reporting to state and federal agencies.

  • Work with personnel in order to explain accounting policy and processes and resolve accounting discrepancies or disputes associated with account balances and reconciliations, reporting clarifications, payment authorizations, expenditures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Must have 3-7 years of experience in the accounting field

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, -OR- any other Bachelor’s Degree that includes at least 18 semester hours in accounting coursework, -OR- an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and 5 years of practical work experience providing complex technical support to professional accounting staff.

  • Experience must demonstrate comprehension and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) guidelines and must demonstrate the ability to (1) classify and analyze financial data and records for the purpose of business financial planning; (2) design, recommend, and implement modifications of accounting methods, procedures, forms, and records; (3) prepare financial statements and reports such as balance sheets and other operating statements; and (4) analyze accounts and accounting relationships that result in complex accounting entries. (5) Understand the payroll concepts and payroll state and federal reporting.

A high school senior or graduate who is enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited, two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school.

GPA requirement: 3.0 or better

Essay:
